Good morning. Today on the show:
  • 10.15am: Ross Kerridge, spokesman, New Institute. The Public Forum, Williamtown: Now and in the Future, will feature guest speakers Ian Dick, Defence Project Director with Hunternet, looking at the Military side, and David Nye, Manager Aviation Business Development for Newcastle Airport, discussing the civilian side of the airport. The forum is on Wednesday, 13 August at South's Newcastle from 7.00pm – 8.30pm
  • 11.15am: Councillor Philip Penfold. Maitland Council wants to cancel its midnight fireworks display as part of plans to make New Year's Eve more family friendly
  • 11.35am: Professor John O'Connor looks at science and space technology
